Having spent a lot of time with the Nikon, which I love, I was keen to try film again, maybe even get back to developing and printing as I used to do.

I bought a Zeiss-Ikon Contina 1a – a lovely old 35mm camera from 1956 and went out around the local area one evening with a roll of Kentmere Pan200. The camera doesn’t have a light meter so I used the EV values from a lux meter App. There is no ISO setting on the camera but it appears that the camera assumes ISO100.

Once I got the scanned images and prints I was very pleased with my first roll of film, in a camera that was new-to-me – images can be seen HERE.

I was hooked on film again. The Nikon is a lovely camera, and definitely a keeper, but I’m going to spend time getting to know film again. For my first project see HERE
